Common Auto Repair Ripoffs

Subject: Reputation is Everything

I agree with you that most shops are honest. I also believe that most doctors and lawyers are too. This doesn't mean customers should go into repair shops with blinders on. If there are any doubts when it comes to a repair shop's recommendations, then it is wise to do a little research and possibly get a second opinion. People are usually better off picking a shop they trust before trouble arises. Most shops will go out of their way to show customers what components need to be replaced or repaired and why. Shops that want your business tomorrow, next month and next year work hard to earn and keep your trust. They know you will tell your friends and neighbors about your experience - if your happy with their work and especially if you're NOT.

Good shops know, reputation is everything.
