Can Penny Stocks Make Millionaires?
By Alex Flanks

Is it possible for people to really make a substantial profit using Penny Stocks, even to become millionaires? Certainly there are some people who make huge amounts of money with stocks, ordinary people who trade in their own time perhaps as a hobby rather than as a professional trader. It is very likely however that although they started on penny stocks they eventually moved up to other potentially more profitable stocks using larger sums of money once they felt they were more experienced, and had more money to spend. Of course the question then becomes how do you start making profits quickly in penny stocks with the least risk?

Subject: Stock Certificate

Hi, I went through my deceased mother's things and ran across a "Penny Stock" Certiificate for 100000 shares. (1992) I have tried to trace this company and from what I can tell is that it has balooned into several big companies, including going international over the years. How can I find out about this?

Thanks

The primary reason why penny stocks are traded over the counter is because the relevant penny stock companies are relatively small and don’t meet the revenue and asset requirements of the major exchanges. Penny stocks also are known as “unlisted” stocks since they are not listed on an exchange but are transacted by dealers who buy and sell over the phone and using a computer network.

Penny stocks are usually priced at less than 5 dollars per share.
