Oh Yes! There's nothing more enjoyable than camping with your horse, spouse, family & friends. That is, if they enjoy it as well as you. I couldn't agree more with you on the camping & trail riding preparations for your horse & you. I'm absolutely thrilled that you have mentioned safety as the primary concern for horse camping. A lot of people don't give safety a second thought. I feel the safest place to tie a horse when camping is on a picket line. It's the place least likely for a horse to get into trouble.
