Broker Price Opinions (BPO) - Why Are They Needed?

BPO's help lenders determine the value of a home. It provides them with a reliable accurate opinion of a properties value. They are most often performed by a local real estate agent because they are familiar with the market.

Bryant - Why do we need 3 to 5 BPOs during the foreclosure stage before the asset is sold.

Subject: Why can 3-5 BPOs be needed on the same property before it is resold

They can be requested for additional price adjustments. At times they will be requested to verify two different agents BPO valuations among other reasons.
