Subject: Men and Guardasil vaccine
It is not true that the vaccine is not available for men. Gay men have been seeking this vaccine and there are doctors who are administering this to men. When I read of this I realized that as a woman over 30 I could easily get it too and sure enough my doctor, nor my insurance plan really bat an eyelash. I paid for the first and they refunded my $$ then the subsequent two shots were free.
If you are a gay or bi man I would urge you to look into it. No studies have been released using the vaccine in men but the fact that HPV could also cause anal cancer of the type that killed Farah Fawcett is proof enough for many.
