An Appreciation of Ayn Rand, Objective Views Worth Knowing

Although not politically oriented for the past ten years or so I got in the habit of reading Reason Magazine. The magazine is a champion of the Libertarian political party point of view. It was through Reason that I learned of Ayn Rand (1905-1982).Rand was born Alisa Rosenbaum in Saint Petersburg, Russia into a middle-class family. Rand immigrated to the United States in 1926. She worked as a screenwriter in Hollywood and ad a play produced on Broadway 1935-1936. She achieved fame with:

I was in ninth grade when I first read Ayn Rand.. It was the book Anthem.. The impression of Anthem remains on my soul to this day..
