Making sure information gathering is correct is a major responsibility of good family history detective work. I hope people will remember often times the data is collected and recorded by handicap -- a source of information may not be able to read, or be under very stressful situations when providing information. All kinds of things enter into the data so the information is CLUES and should be carefully documented and collected to be evaluated with other supporting documentation.
