Subject: Alcohol and College - Not a Great Mix I would say that the most important part is that a parent teaches their kids how to make the right decision, by their own. That´s why it´s important to build trust and friendship in the early years of the child and guide them with moral standards and a healthy fear of gods principles. The main line of this article to me, it´s the instruction parents give to kids. Comment provided September 20, 2008 at 3:50 pm

Subject: Alcohol and kids don't mix for real As a young college student and a mother as well I found this article very helpful. One of the very important clue that I saw you mentioned in the article was not to be vague. Some parents don't think that their kids will encounter such a problem because they don't hear them talk about it. Don't assume anything. Talk to them before its to late don't be vague about it or you will cry big time later. Comment provided September 23, 2008 at 11:38 am
