I just want to thank you for putting this article out there. I was diagnosed yesterday - and am still a little shell shocked. I am 58 and having some memory loss, vision changes, handwriting changes, along with a host of issues that accompany "carcinoid tumor" syndrome, which I have been battling for over 4 years. A PET scan was performed Aug 26th, and we were hoping to locate the carcinoid tumor (go to Carcinoidinfo.info to learn more about this ugly disease). I just thought I was "getting old". So you have alleviated some of my basic fears and I will take time to learn more before my MRI confirms the size and depth of this tumor. I want to have several more productive work years in me!
