"A Great and Godly Adventure" by Godfrey Hodgson The emerging colonial life wasn't easy and held many hardships for the pilgrims. The book about the Mayflower doesn't seem to uncover any new knowledge about the facts but tends to give a better understanding of the Adventure of the Mayflower and its passengers. Also, the condition during the time in England seems to give a clearer picture for the reader. They ventured out on a chance for a new lifestyle and a promising future. Probably it could have been a better moniker for this extraordinary novel about the journey of the Pilgrims to the new world and their experiences once they arrived. Highly recommend it. - John
