7 Sure Fire Ways To Overcome Stage Fright When Speaking Or Performing
By Michael Bresciani

In thirty years of speaking and performing I have heard just about every solution for overcoming stage fright. Some have suggested trying to envision your audience all being naked. Others have advised that you just pick one point of focus in the room such as one person’s forehead and concentrate only on that. These ideas almost never work, so here are a few better ideas for your consideration.

I absolutely agree with your 7 principles. It really doesn’t if some one dose not believe God or not, but as a believer asking God to spiritually guide you through your talking period is paramount. I am however convinced that most adults grew up as a kid in environments that were not conducive for open discussions and as a result these traits resurfaced in their adulthoods. Nonetheless, focusing on the subject matter is one thing, mastering the subject matter is rather paramount; honestly you cannot say what you don’t know.

Another serious problem about public speaking is taking life toooooo serious, there is nothing serious about this life, just do your best, I mean no one is perfect, so don’t try to be a perfectionist, otherwise you will end up with some medical complication, i.e. HBP.

Finally, humor will help, make an audience laugh, just make them laugh, I really don’t know how, so don’t ask me! And stop being that serious and live your life.

Subject: third tip

I enjoy this authors third tip by asking yourself one question and the one question was "can anybody here come up and say what i am going to say" and a lot of times the answer will be "few to none". So asking yourself that would be tough because obviously we are all giving speeches but many of us have different topics, but we are the experts on our speech.
