Subject: Objective

3 good points, but I have to disagree with your first point. You do not want to tell your audience what your objective is, that is for you to know and them to achieve. What you do want to do is tell your audience how to meet your objective. A subtle but important difference. Encouraging your audience to meet your objective should be the last thing you say, before you sit down. That way they are more likely to remember it and follow through to do it.
