If you are an online article author, then perhaps you have considered that there are other online article authors near you. Did you know there are strength in numbers? Well, then why not form a local online article writer club. Make it a writer's club, something you will benefit from and also help others too, locally. What do you need to set up this club? Well, not much really.

First, make a list of all the online authors in your area, then contact them and invite them to a local coffee shop for an organizational strategy session. At this meeting decide what your mission statement will be and what the criteria for joining is - write this down so you can use it for future bylaws. Determine if you have enough initially interested writers to move to the next step. If so, pick out temporary leadership positions. Later, you will allow a group vote.

Put together a proposed budget and ask for volunteers to do various writing PR jobs to fund the weekly meetings, T-shirts and other various things you decide upon. Make a list of potential sponsors and consider a recruitment plan, perhaps tap into the local high schools and colleges. 

There is power in numbers and a writer's group can help keep you focused on your writing and keep you thinking about improvement. It will also help you with a little friendly competition to better yourself, your articles and the quantity, performance and commitment to propel yourself as an online article author.
