Network Marketers / MLM business owners of all leagues (the extremely seasoned & successful ones or the ones still struggling to make it big) have at at some point in time in their respective careers, been part of the old school or the traditional style of Network Marketing. Most of us, have experienced the phase of "Fake it till you make it", in the hope of making it really big some day.

No denying this, there have been a few network marketers who have struck gold even with the old traditional style of multi-level marketing or network marketing. But these lucky ones have just been a handful few. The rest either followed it part time or gave it up altogether. Analyzing it with an unbiased point of view, the most important factor that tops the list of reasons responsible for this, is the lack of marketing opportunities available then.

While most of the MLM programs & business opportunities harped upon the fact that the degree of success would be directly proportional to the amount of efforts that were put in, none of these actually allowed marketing the opportunity anywhere near to what one would do to market a real physical brick and mortar business.

Rather, in some MLM businesses marketing on mass media like print, electronics, outdoor etc. was altogether prohibited. In other words, what was instrumental significantly to the success of any real life business was almost denied in a MLM program or opportunity.

The result was obvious, but couldn't really surface to the extent of certainty, thanks to the consistent portrayal of regular star achievements of those, who showed off on the Dias with motivating scripted versions of success, at the hotel meetings that one would attend week after week.

But today things have changed and changed for the best. Today, with the advent of Internet, the average network marketer has access to numerous marketing and advertising opportunities that have broken all barriers of reach. Not only are these online marketing methods affordable, they also bring to the fore, instant access to millions of like minded entrepreneurs who seek to be part of the network business industry.

In my perspective, there couldn't be a better time for the network business industry. For all those, who have been part of or are getting in to the Internet network marketing industry now,success is almost a certain destination. The only word of caution would be to ensure the credibility of the internet business opportunity that you join and the online marketing & advertising methods that you would employ to reach out to your customers.

The Internet is a vast medium and like all other media has varied kinds of entrepreneurs, home based business opportunities and online marketing & advertising methodologies operating within it. This ranges from excellent, very good, good, fair, average, below average, bad and absolute scams. All you need to do is, do the due diligence before you join it, ensure you are equipped with the best resources & skill sets and then get on to it. I wish you the very best.
