Susan Bilheimer has two areas of expertise. She is an author and speaker on women's issues. Her resource site for women in perimenopause provides information on dozens of symptoms, including weight gain, migraine, and mood swings. Susan is also the author of 'Midlife Meditation,' an easy, simple technique for women who have never meditated or feel they cannot do so. Currently, she is writing a book on the subject of pelvic/sexual pain and its effect on relationships with medical expert Robert Echenberg, M.D. As part of this project, they are developing a site/blog dedicated to this vital issue. Susan is also a successful Technical Writer. Among her accomplishments, she has produced an Oracle navigation guide, Oracle Financials documentation, and RoboHELP, WinHELP and cross-platform WebHELP. She has also written many responses to government Requests for Proposal (RFPS), helping one software company win over 1.5 million dollars in contracts. As a dynamic spokesperson, encouraging new entries into the field of technical writing, she has been interviewed by such periodicals as The Dallas Morning News and the Palm Beach Post. Susan’s career is a case study of a struggling freelance writer who recognized that by blending creative writing skills with the structure of technical documentation, she could turn a VERY part-time writing career into an exceptionally lucrative full-time writing profession!
