I was born on March 14, 1961 in Middletown, New York. At 6 weeks old I was moved to Miami Florida where I spent the first 5 years of my life. At age 5, I started school in Lake Placid, Florida, and at age 6, we moved to Sebring Florida where I finished and graduated High school. I was not a popular child in school. I was the middle child of 5. My parents were divorced by the time I reached the age of 12 and I moved out of my mother’s home when I was still in High school, at the age of 15. I was under the impression that I was greater than she and could make it on my own. I was also drinking by that age which was probably the biggest factor in my thinking I was greater than she impression. I have worked since the age of 15. Started at Mc Donald’s and my last job was a Subway restaurant (April 2007). I was always a manager at my jobs; I was single and had to take care of my children. Fast food was my line of work. I enjoyed my work and enjoyed my customers the most. No day was the same and no customer was the same. I liked it that way. I was still a heavy drinker at the age of 36. On September 3, 1997 my mother passed away and devastated my way of life. She had spent the last 5 years of her life living with my 3 children and me. I was a single parent and she was probably more help to me than I was to her. Of course that devastation was much needed in my life, although I didn’t see it coming, but she knew. 3 months before her passing she handed me and my 3 children our own Bible. Of course mine was just placed on my dresser and that is where it stayed until about 2 weeks after her passing. That was long enough to feel sorry for myself and with the help of my son’s youth pastor; I picked myself up and visited the church my oldest son was attending. I was born again in November, 1997 and baptized in April, 1998. I met my husband in church and we were married in 2001. I have another child now and I believe in second chances. I really missed out on a lot in my 3 older children’s youth. I just pray that they don’t suffer for my ignorance. After running businesses for others for 30 years, the Lord has prepared me to start my own business. The mission of my business is to share my passion for the Lord with others and bless them as I have been blessed. I believe through God all things are possible and as long as I follow His lead, I will complete the plan He has started in me.
