They thought that what is important for their salvation is Christ alone because Christ is the only savior sent by God to save men on the day of judgment.

SOme of them use this verse to prove that Christ is the Father and the Father is Christ, as if, they are one in number. Some of them also use this to prove that Christ and the Father, although different and distinct persons, but are one God.

[News-and-Society:Religion] The term church was first used by Christ during the time when he declared that He will build the church as it was written on the book of Matthew 16:18. Definitely, the Apostles who heard it from Christ knew what it means, because they didn't questioned Christ about it. ... However, Christians today although used this term (church) have different understanding on what the term Church means. Some said, it is a building used in Christian worship and the others said it is a religion or a group of believers.

[News-and-Society:Religion] We, Christians know through the teaching of the Holy Bible, that Christ is the only Savior. He is our only hope, for us to be saved from the wrath of God on Judgment day. And we all know what to do so that Christ will save us, and that is, to have a relationship with Him.

They believe in Christ and have faith in Him, call upon His name and done wonders or miracles in His name. However, we will notice that each of these groups or sects have their own doctrine and practices which contradict with each other.

They're even thinking that by just calling the name of Christ, repenting for their sins and accepting Christ as their personal savior is enough so that their sins will be forgiven and they will attain the salvation promised by God.

[News-and-Society:Religion] The way of salvation that professing Christians, like Born Again Christians, knew is too easy to do. According to them, by just accepting Christ as personal savior is enough for us to be saved on Judgment Day. This pronouncement is backed them up with the John 3:16 verse of the Bible.

[News-and-Society:Religion] Members of the Roman Catholic Church do not know the truth about Christ's way of saving man from the day of God's wrath. They thought that by merely calling the name of Christ and do the things they thought are good will lead them to salvation. They are taught by the Catholic Authorities that through their so-called Holy Mass, souls from purgatory will be sent to heaven.
However, we should consider asking the Holy Bible. Is it enough for all Catholics to call the name of Christ for them to be saved? Christ taught that calling His name is not a guarantee for them be saved:
