Philip Gardiner - EzineArticles.com Expert Author
Somebody said just the other day "It's incredible. Just two or three years ago nobody had heard of you. Now the whole world is asking about you." This seems to be a common occurrence for Philip at the moment. He is currently filming for several television documentaries to be seen across the world in 2006 and 2007. He is hosting and organising two major international conferences in the UK and in LA called the ... [More]

- The Great Pyramid
[News-and-Society] I am going to speak of something many academics have voiced to me in private. Even today, as I write this article, an eminent Egyptologist spoke to me of the fact that the Great Pyramid "was surely not just a tomb, if a tomb at all!" She was almost resentful of not being "allowed" to state the truth.
- The Skull and Crossbones
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Humanities] The Untold Tale of the Templar Shining Ones and their link into ancient wisdom.
- Secrets of the Stars- Tracing the Origins of Ancient Cults and Cabals
[News-and-Society:Religion] Man collects into groups, like schools of fish and flocks of birds. These groups become religions, secret societies, governments and cults. The reasons for these groupings are the same as it is for animals banding together.
- Tradition - a Treasure Chest of Quantum Reality
[Self-Improvement:Spirituality] Tradition is not simply something we imagine our grandparents had. It is not just something those stuffy looking pompous Englishmen re-enact everyday in Parliament or that wonderfully colourful changing of the guard outside the gates of Buckingham Palace.
- The Secret Code - The Truth Behind the Da Vinci Code
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Movies-TV] If the Da Vinci Code is a load of hogwash, then just what is the truth about the Holy Grail?
- The One
[Self-Improvement:Inspirational] There is a lot of talk about the One in New Age and alternative circles. The amazing success of the film What the Bleep!?, brought home to many the reality of the quantum world and the unusual state of perception that we exist in. But during the whole film there was no mention of our past. There was no indication whether ancient man had ever understood such so-called realities before the 20th and 21st centuries. Is this arrogance? That only we in the modern age can understand such concepts? Or is it a lack of understanding and knowledge of the mind of our ancestors? I decided it was time to discover whether ancient man could have possibly known about the quantum realm of Oneness. But first we have to understand it ourselves before we can see the clues our ancestors left behind.
- The Truth About Secret Societies
[Self-Improvement:Spirituality] One of the most profound enigmas of the existence of secret societies is and has always been, why do people join? Why is it, that people find these groups so interesting? What is it that we are looking for?
- Walking the Dog
[Arts-and-Entertainment] The only moment of peace I seem to get nowadays is when myself and my wife walk the dogs in the woods. Little Arthur, a tiny Jack Russell and Draco, a gangly Staffordshire bull terrier, tear through the thicket like a pair of crazed hunting dogs on a scent. We watch them release their pent up energy as we talk and walk. Then life changes and I'm back to the desk, hammering out the words, or deep into some fusty ancient old book, whilst taking phone calls on two lines or answering one of the two hundred emails I get every hour.
- Woman in the Whitehouse
[Womens-Interests] For thousands of years man has battled with woman in more ways than we can possibly imagine. A strange statement but one that will ring true in the hearts of many women even today. You see positions of power are kept from females today in the same way the Church reduced the authority of women in the community many centuries ago.
- More to Life than the Kundalini
[Self-Improvement] There are many who perceive that all of the religions of the globe owe their origin and spiritual authority to what the Hindu’s called the kundalini.
- The Cross of the Templars: The History of the True Cross
[News-and-Society:Religion] Today the world is going mad for all things Knights Templar. They have never been so popular. Everywhere you turn there’s a new book, poster, t-shirt and even mug with their infamous red cross on a white background. But this wasn’t their only symbol, and we discovered that there was even greater truth to be found behind this enigmatic imagery and believe it or not, it had nothing at all to do with Dan Brown.
We begin our quest with a familiar symbol to many people - the ankh. Today there are millions of people walking around with this unique and extremely important symbol on chains around their necks. Even Christians adorn themselves with the image, thinking it to be a normal cross. And yet the significance of the symbolism implied by this seemingly unobtrusive little object is very profound.
- The Serpent Grail and the Lady of the Lake
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Humanities] Is there a mystery here to be unravelled? Is there a serpent code being held by the Grail myths? Can we uncover this code by taking a look at the Lady of Lake? The answer is yes to all these questions, for held within the folds of the coiled snake we shall discover the truth of the origin of the Arthurian tales and the strange watery Lady who was to give Arthur his sword.
There are various names attributed to the 'Lady of the Lake;' Nimue and Vivienne are the two most used, but most pertinent to us here is 'White Serpent.' Nimue is probably Mneme or Mnemosyne, who is one of the Muses or 'water nymphs' from Roman and Greek mythology and who gave out weapons - just as the Lady of the Lake did. Vivienne in all likelihood comes from Vi-Vianna or Co-Vianna the 'water goddess' or Coventina of Celtic origin ('Coventina's Well' also had a skull offering discovered which is important in the worship of snakes and wisdom [1].)
- Templars
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Humanities] Whether stars of the Disney film National Treasure or pawns of modern day political and commercial propaganda, the Knights Templar have taken root as one of the world’s leading mystery groups. But what is the truth? Did they really have a great secret? Did they really hide treasure? Were they really guardians of the Holy Bloodline? Lets take a look.
Originally supposedly a group of nine knights (debatable), taken from the ruling nobility in the region of France known as Champagne who collected themselves together in Jerusalem around 1118 AD and formed the now infamous Knights Templar. All of this cannot be totally proven from the texts – however it is repeated so often that it becomes true. In all likelihood they had been formed in France years before...
- Here Be Dragons: The Strange Enigma of Serpent Mounds
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Humanities] Over the course of many years and with more air-miles than we care to remember, we have journeyed on a quest to uncover the secrets of the ancient serpent cults that we reveal in our books. But each time we journey, we discover something new. There truly is a whole new world opening up before our eyes and suddenly and often without warning we are faced with a re-interpretation of history that we are simply not looking for.
- The Serpent Sword
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Humanities] In The Quest of the Holy Grail, a uniquely alchemical tale, the sword is seen as a fiery serpent. It is the sword of King David, made by the wise Solomon (Sol Om On) with a pommel stone of all the colors of the earth, with two rib hilts, one made from the fish of the Euphrates and the other the serpent.
- The Mysterious Head of St Teilo: An Untold Tale With Far Reaching Implications
[Arts-and-Entertainment:Humanities] A traditional story relates how one fine day a group of monks were transporting the bones of a Dark Age Welsh Saint from one shrine to another. Having grown weary, the monks rested at a house along the way. One of the other residents of the house was moaning pitifully in pain and so the good prior took some water and blessed it solemnly.
- The Search for the Holy Grail
[Travel-and-Leisure] All this work didn't take an afternoon. In fact it took many years work and many thousands of miles of travelling across the globe.
We travelled from the beautifully romantic city of Paris, with its enigmatic buildings and wonderfully laid back atmosphere, to frantic and noisy Rome, with its carefree and yet devout attitude to life. We took in the cosmopolitan Malta - a mixture of medieval Europe's greatest minds and artistic flare - and saw for ourselves the serpentine temples of Mnadjra and the time capsule of crusader Mdina...
- Gnosis: The Secret of Solomon's Temple Revealed
[News-and-Society:Religion] Life is a journey we all have to take. We are born with no knowledge whatsoever other than some minor genetic memories, and many of us simply follow the patterns that life and our peers throw at us. We subconsciously assume we must do as our forefathers; we must follow in their footsteps; we must marry, have children, get a job, step onto the roller-coaster of commercialism and the greed oriented rat race we know as capitalism or even communism. There is seemingly no way out of this life and anyway, most of us are enthused by the chase.
- Would the Real Jesus Please Stand Up
[News-and-Society:Religion] This is a tale of lost legend, of hidden people taken from our site by the jealousy of the Christian Church.
