Corsica: Ever Conquered Never Subdued

After I parked the truck at the Toulon depot, I decided that it was time for a complete change of scene so I caught the ferry to Calvi and 3 hours later I was in Corsica, the home of Napoleon Bonaparte!
As we approached the Corsican coast I became overwhelmed by a sudden attack of sneezing. It was a still, hot summers day and my brow was covered in sweat. There was a pungent sweet flagrance in the air which tickled my throat and brought tears to my eyes.
