- The US Debt is a Problem That Will Damage Us All by Stacy Wellman
The bill the Democrats recently passed has no special Obama stimulus grants in it. This is something that many people fail to understand. There just isn't any money in that bill for individual people. - Roof Top IEDin Dearborn MI Takes Out Santa's Sleigh - DHS Calls it Non Terrorist Act by Lance Winslow
There has just been a news bulletin, apparently on a practice run to demonstrate Santa Claus' latest toy delivery UAV system in Dearborn, Michigan Santa's sleigh was taken out by an IED. No one knows how the IED explosive device got onto the roof there, but the first news reports came out that it was a "terrorist act" and that the sleigh and several robotic rain deer were serious damaged, and one totally destroyed. - Edu Manzano For Vice President by Pulitika Indio
To start with, I tried to convince myself not to write about the candidacy of Mr. Edu Manzano due to the fact that any publicity is still publicity. But since all of my online and real life friends cant seem to stop talking about it, might as well jump into the bandwagon. - Do Not Let a Quack Stand in the Way of a Free Market Solution to the Health Care Crisis by Randal A. Pope
Which do you value greater - the protection that you have from medical quacks by government edict, or availability of alternative methods of treatment that may or may not be beneficial for your family's health? History is replete with medical quacks that have preyed on people's emotions at a time when they are seeking hope from anywhere, because of bleak medical realities. Are there treatments available, though, that are not approved by government agencies, that could be the answer to your malady? - A Woman's Rights - Pull Your Head Out of the Sand by Chad E. Briggs
Each of us must pull our head out of the sand and take a stand for a woman's right to live. Yes, a woman's right to live. In the world women are being killed, defiled, disparaged and humiliated everyday. They are women and for no other reason! - Of Misplaced Passion by Lance Winslow
When Bill Gates and Warren Buffet spoke at the Columbia School of Business for an hour and a half, it was noted that they had come with an underlining theme. The most important thing you need for success when choosing your career is to be "passionate about what you do," and that is to say, do what you love, and do it as best as you can and you are well on your way. Indeed, I smiled and could not agree more. - Why Did Oprah Help Senator Obama Play the Race Card in South Carolina? by Lance Winslow
President Obama owes much of his election victory to Oprah. Yet, how much did Oprah sacrifice in helping President Obama one has to ask. After all, Oprah's ratings have slid a bit, and contrary to popular belief, Obama did not win by a landslide, albeit he did win by a somewhat comfortable margin as US President Politics have gone in the last decade. There are a huge number of people who will not watch Oprah and turn off the TV or flip the channel when she comes on. - Santa Claus LLC Challenged by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez by Lance Winslow
Santa Claus is really getting tired of rogue nation-states and socialist leaning leaders. Not long ago, President Hugo Chavez took over and nationalized most all of the media, especially those TV, radio, and newspapers which did not say nice things about his political posturing. Now most of it is all state owned media. - Santa Claus LLC Might Be Out of Business Due to Pirates Off the Coast of Somalia by Lance Winslow
Santa Claus has always been cutting edge when it comes to logistics, time travel, and picking up new market segments. Lately, he's been delivering toys to a couple of spoiled rich kids on a luxury yacht. They demand nearly a whole sleigh full per each kid. Anyway, he's been doing practice runs lately and he landed on one yacht off the coast of Somalia, just as pirate hijackers took control of the vessel. - Santa Claus LLC Challenged by Nuclear Proliferation and Threats From Iran by Lance Winslow
The Santa Clause Factory may have to close its doors after 90 years. It turns out they can no longer get insurance for their facilities. The missile defense shield has been cancelled and Iran's President has threatened to "blow Christmas off the map." Unfortunately, "Christmas is right here, this is where it all starts, we make toys here 10-months out of the year for the big day, and we are also contracted to do Hanukkah now and that means December is a big business month." - Santa Claus Hit by Aircraft While Pilot Was Text Messaging - No Christmas This Year by Lance Winslow
There will be no Christmas this year, so please tell your children, unfortunately, Santa's Sleigh and rain deer were taken out during a routine training mission the other day over New York City. Unfortunately, I am sad to say, there was a Mid-Air Collision with an Airliner full of passengers on their way to Upstate to get flu shots because they ran out in the city. The aircraft took off from La Guardia and climbed to approximately 4,200 feet AGL (above ground level) according to the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) where it struck Santa Claus. - Red China's Sea Army - The Future of the Chinese Aircraft Carrier Considered by Lance Winslow
Will China's future aircraft carriers be a threat to other nations? Many are alarmed at China's rapid build-up of their Red Army, as China has no real enemies they cannot handle and has for the most part been concerned with inward control, rather than outward expansionism or imperialism, at least since Confucianism became popular well over half a millennial ago. At one time the Chinese did have the largest Navy in the World under the control of Admiral Zheng; The Treasure Fleet. - Nobody Panic! by Kieron Mcfadden
Governments and their puppet masters increasingly abandon even pretending we live in a democracy and more or less do as they please. What is to be done? - Terrorism - Why Does Government Help it? by Kieron Mcfadden
This article looks at the actual intention of terrorist attacks. It also asks why does government seem so eager to help terrorists achieve their goal? - Can California Still Lead the Nation in Innovation? by Mac McKinley
Since the recession began, California's budget deficit issues and double digit unemployment rates have a lot of people wondering if the state can continue leading the nation in technology and innovation. Ask most Californians, and they will tell you they don't believe their state is quite ready to throw in the towel. In fact, their ability to innovate will not only play a role in their recovery, but in America's recovery as well. - What the Movie 2012 and the Rapture of Christians Have in Common by Dr. Steve McSwain
Have you seen the movie 2012? Is the world coming to an end? Could the Mayans be right? And, haven't the Christians been saying for decades that the world would soon end? Or, is the movie just as fictional as the rapture is to Christians? - Will Chinese UAVs Be Used For Ethnic Cleansing in the Future? by Lance Winslow
As the United States gets more proficient with unmanned aerial systems and unmanned aerial vehicles, you can expect the Red Army in China to launch more and more UAV military systems. This is both good and bad news. It is good news because this will help China become stronger, and they can also help us, and the rest of the free world with rogue nation-states. Especially during times when the UN Security Council deems it necessary to crack down on terrorists, pirates, or rogue nations. - US Only Owes China 1 Trillion Dollars - Big Deal Obama Spends That Much a Month by Lance Winslow
Why is everyone so worried about how much China debt of the US China buys? Why not consider how much our President and his programs spend monthly? Just take the left over money from TARP and the unspent Stimulus, all of which we borrowed at zero + interest, and pay China off, but let's take the dollar down to the very bottom and give them the boot. - So the Chinese Are Going to Build Aircraft Carriers Now? by Lance Winslow
During the big Ship Parade the Chinese showed off their large Red China Sea Army, unfortunately, there was something missing. No Aircraft Carriers, interesting you might say. They had those old Russian Nuclear Submarines they bought, and more ships than you could count, everyone was very impressed and the President of China was very proud, it brought some pride to the masses. - Many Nations Buying Su-27 Fighters and That's Good For the USA by Lance Winslow
The Su-27 seems to be one of the fighter planes of choice these days in much of the world. It seems to have proven itself over time as a nice piece of equipment with decent performance. Although it is not up to the standards of most modern day US fighter aircraft, the prices is cheap enough. There seem to be so many different variants of the Su-27, and at the Dubai Air Show and Paris, there seem to be some interesting new stuff, but it is not 5-generation stuff like the F-22 or F-35. - China As a Client Nation, and Future Partner Considered - Intellectual Abstract Thought by Lance Winslow
Have you ever considered that since American Billionaires are so heavily invested in China, and since Carlisle Group invested another 60 Billion today, that economically speaking China is really a silent US state or territory, and that some day we might just be one nation. We are so interlinked already, I am not sure why we are not working more closely with each other to play good guy, bad guy and do an end-run around the Belgium Power Base. After all, it's obvious that the EU leadership wants to make the US Subservient to their "one-world" their way government rule. - Confessions of a Non-Driver by Susan Dear
Whilst flitting through the pages of the 'New Review' of last week's 'Mail on Sunday', I came across an article in which the 'Punk Poet Laureate,' John Cooper Clarke, admitted in passing to his interviewer that he wished he could drive. I breathed an immediate sigh of relief at this revelation. The main reason for this apparent surge of warm 'knowingness' and sympathy that I experienced was that, at the tender age of forty-nine, I am still not able to drive myself. - Why Are China Made Products So Poor by David Samuel
This article is based on a long history of personal experience doing business in China. It discusses the causes of the poor quality products and has a very interesting twist at the end which turns a commercial discussion to one of a valuable personal growth and business success lesson. - Is Sarah Palin a "Joke?" by William H Watson
There is a lot of hype surrounding Sarah Palin. Why do some many in the "elite media" despise her? - Barack Obama, President of All Americans, Not Primarily For African Americans by Hans VanKrieken
I read that some African American pressure groups want Obama to place more African Americans in top leadership positions. These African Americans should take in consideration that Japanese Americans, Chinese Americans, Latin Americans and people from many other ethnic groups, including, also, a large portion of the white American population voted Barack Obama into the presidency. - Could the Ft. Hood Attack Have Been Avoided? by Eric G. Smith
There are growing concerns about Major Hasan's outburst that killed 13 and wounded 31 at Ft. Hood, a military post. There are reports that Hasan was feeling harassed by military personal and that he was mentally and emotionally unstable concerning his situation, serving in the military after the military paid for his education. Hasan was trained as a psychiatrist and was to help others with the issues that he reportedly experienced. - Sotomayor's Dilemma by John Woodworth
Senator Jeff Sessions' predilections typically are predictable--staid and steadfast on course to keep the ship of justice righted through his notion of conservatism, and careful inquiry. His latest machinations, a strangely poignant statement asserting that if Supreme Court judges were to possess empathy, (and possibly judiciously apply this in the formulation of a decision) by default, they must possess (and presumably promulgate) prejudice. - United States Postal Service - Change to Avoid Extinction by Sandra Gehring
When George Washington established the Postal Department in 1792 I wonder if he actually envisioned it as the second largest civilian employer in the good old U. S. of A. Yep, only Wal-Mart employs more people than our beloved postal service. - Is China Now Paying For Taking Advantage of US Markets and America's Generosity? by Lance Winslow
China is having a serious problem with their economy, but they are pretending it doesn't exist. They have been pumping stimulus money into their economy just like the United States, even at a greater percentage. They have caused a huge bubble in their real estate market in Shanghai. Meanwhile, many Chinese are using the stock market to make money, rather than creating real wealth, savings, and value through the efforts of their labor, or good solid investing. - Does China Need to Chill Out on Its Growth Curve? by Lance Winslow
It appears that China wants to maintain its previous 10% year-over-year growth, but that is actually unsustainable in the future. You see, for over 30 years China has had incredible growth in its GDP. However, as the economy grows larger and larger it cannot maintain that exponential growth rate. Rather than trying to hold onto a 10% per year growth rate, China should be looking in the neighborhood of 3 to 5% so they don't overheat.
