You've got to learn to speak good things about yourself, it is very essential to say positive things about yourself. Let me remind you that the whole creation is a product of words, everything in the universe respond to words. Joshua spoke to the sun and the moon and they stood still: Moses was commanded to speak to the rock to bring forth water: Jesus spoke to the raging waves of the sea (that is, a great storm) and there was a perfect calmness. The fiery furnace of fire was rendered impotent to harm Shadrach Meshach and Abednego because of the presence of the word of God.

The WORD works. Sicknesses responds to words, even Lazarus who was dead for four days heard the words of Jesus and responded by coming back to life. Your words are powerful, Jesus said in John 6:63 that

The words that I speak unto you, they are spirits and they are life.

If Jesus words are spirits so are yours, but you have to understand that negative words brings death instead of life. So speak speak positively and you will produce life that will help to maintain your success. You must resolve never to say negative or contrary things to your progress; do not speak sickness into your body; do not speak death into your life; do not even joke with words that can lead to death, failure of defeat. Many are ignorant of the fact that negative words spoken jocularly can bring defeat and failure into their lives. You must therefore speak good positive words to yourself and your situations whether you are serious , jocking or playing.

The spiritual realm is very sensitive and all things respond to words. I cannot forget as I grew up to wonder why many young ladies are very prone to to be deceived by mere words from even the most vile of all men. I have seen extremely beautiful women falling prey to the deceit of lazy and mischievous men and cannot but wonder why. The Lord taught and explained it to me later, that every man (and even man) responds to words irrespective of the one that speaks those words, or whether those words are true or false. If you told my grand mother who died at the age of one hundred and five years shortly before she died that, "mama, you look pretty and beautiful today"; you will be surprised the way she would respond to those words. She would suddenly remember how beautiful she was and how many men were struggling to have her hand in marriage. She would tell you stories of her charming beauty with smiles on her face.

Words are powerful; words are creative; words are sources of encouragement or discouragement; words can build or destabilize. To maintain your success, I employ you to learn how to make proper and effective use of words. Mind what you say to people, to yourself or your situations. For instance, what you say to your friends matter and can dictate how lasting the friendship will ever be. What you say to your spouse matter, it can determine how successful your marriage will ever be and this can affect the maintenance of your achieved success.

I have seen people who lost their hard earned success because they refused to tame their tongues, so be careful.
