Your Wealth Building System - Is Your Mind Making You Broke?

If you are ready to being your wealth building system, you will need to begin with your mind. Your inner thoughts are what make the difference between financial abundance and financial scarcity. A successful business owner does not achieve success by having a better education, stronger skills, or more opportunity. These things will help, but will not be the main factor for success. The single differentiating factor is in your head. Listen to how you talk to yourself.

The next time you see something that you would love to have, whether it is a piece of jewelry, an expensive car, a cruise to Alaska, listen to what your inner voice is telling you. Do you tell yourself you can't afford it? That you don't deserve it? Or that you need to win the lottery to get it? All those are self-defeating and self-limiting thoughts. Your mind is telling you that you can't have it, and you believe it. Fear of failure leads to procrastination and this leads to staying right where you are in life. This is a mindset of financial scarcity.

A person with a mindset of financial abundance will have a completely different inner dialogue. He will determine what it is that he desires and what it will cost to get it, and then begin to plan how to attract that money into his life. He will visualize the end result and the steps he needs to get there. Failure is not something to be feared. Instead, take the attitude of Thomas Edison who says, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

Financial abundance comes from defining a wealth building system that will work for you. You will need to take the time to think through what you really want from life and why you want it. Do you say you want to be rich? Define what rich means to you in terms of how much money you have and what that money will do for you. Attach emotion to your goal to make it come alive in your dreams. Only then can you begin to make the changes necessary in your life to make your dreams a reality.

Start to change your life by changing your inner voice. You have to believe that you deserve it, that you are capable of achieving it, and that you are not hurting anyone else by getting it.
