If you write purely for money, it will show because your work will be sketchy and in no way ground breaking because you will be repeating other peoples points you may have researched to enable you to write the ebook. Stay with what you know.

It is also important that you write about something you know has a decent demand. Afterall, you do want the book to sell.

The keywords you research will enable you to ensure that you can get your ebook sales page in front of your target audience.

Scouting the competition involves taking a look to see how many other ebooks are available on your topic and how their authors are promoting their ebooks.

Even if you are an expert in your topic it is still important to research your information before writing to ensure that your work is current and accurate.

Once you have compiled your information you then need to plan your chapters so that your book has a framework for you to build around.

After the above steps are complete you then can proceed to write your first draft.

Once you have written your first draft you are then able to read what you are going to present to your readers. Check, rewrite, check and rewrite until you have your ebook at the best you are capable of.
