Your Blog As A Squeeze Page

A very popular way to monetize your blog is to have an opt-in box. With an opt-in box you have so many ways you can go.

I suggest that within your blog you create a squeeze page. There are many free squeeze page creators available you can choose from.

I always suggest a host service with a cPanel and Fantastico. It is pretty simple to upload your squeeze page to your blog via your file manager.

Once you have created a squeeze page with an-opt in box now it's time to choose your offer for those who decide to opt in.

A few years ago it was not a problem to offer something for sale on your squeeze page and get many subscribers. However; these days I think it is a much smarter idea to offer a freebie.

Let's say you have a membership site, you could offer a free trial to your membership site, you could offer a free week, a three-month trial or whatever that way they can see what your membership site has to offer plus they are now a subscriber to your list.

On your squeeze page you can offer them a free newsletter. This way you have a new subscriber plus you can build a relationship as they reach your newsletter.

Another offer that you can present them is an interview. Just set up an audio interview or it could be a transcribed interview but I would just go with the audio interview with an expert in your field. In that way you can be seen as an expert by interviewing an expert. That way you can kill two birds with one stone as they say. One is you get the-opt in and you are perceived as an expert.

I think a great thing you can offer is a free e course, in this way you can get your new subscriber and what a great way to build relationship with him or her. By creating let's say a month's free course that you can give them something once a week who knows you may just be creating a relationship and a new buyer for months to come or even years.

Creating a squeeze page with the opt-in box is a great way to find new subscribers. Of course, once you get a new subscriber now is when the work begins.

If your idea of creating a relationship with your new subscriber is to continually bombard them with a bunch of sales letters without giving them something for free of real value that I am afraid your site will be nothing more than a revolving door. Meaning that as soon as you get a new subscriber in order one very well may unsubscribe.
