Sometimes We Ask Too Many Questions

I once worked with a middle aged man who wanted to get his GED. Now, he believed that it was impossible, because he didn't understand algebra. We know that what we believe will certainly manifest for us. As Henry Ford said, "Whether you believe you can or you can't, either way you're right."

So, I talked to him about algebra. I had used algebra with 5 year olds, and believed that I could certainly at least take away his block. As I showed him easier and easier problems, I could see that his frustration was growing. Finally, I got it. He thought that algebra was like a language. He thought that "a" or "x" always had the same meaning and that his teachers were, for some reason, not telling him what it was.

I think that most of us do this same thing with the Law of Attraction. We are born knowing how to use it, and because we go astray a few times or people we trust tell us that we're delusional or being fanciful, we lose faith. Then, like the man above, we start looking for "the answer."

The Answer Was in Our Heart All the Time

"Asking" is, perhaps, the biggest mistake we make. Asking is really all about lack isn't it? How can you ask for something you already have? It's really better to "be" there.

The cripple who touched the hem of Jesus' garment "knew" that was all he had to do. And so, he was healed. Gregg Braden tells the story of following a friend, Hopi I believe, far out to their traditional prayer place during a severe drought. Gregg was interested in "how" the traditional man would make his prayer for rain. When they finally got there, the man walked into the circle and stayed there for a while, and then walked out and rejoined Gregg. That night, it rained hard, but just in their area. The weathermen couldn't explain how the low pressure system took a big dip south just into that area.

When Gregg asked his friend, he explained that in their prayer circle, he pictured himself walking in mud and feeling the rain all over his body, and remembered the smell of the rain and the cooling quality of the rain. He didn't actually form a request. When he was done remembering, he said, "Thank you."

This, Gregg realized, was the explanation in the books of the bible that were removed by Constantine. Your prayer is your sensory memory or feeling of what you desire and your imagination of how great it is to be in that feeling.

Don't Work so Hard

So the masters explain, if you desire abundance, appreciate abundance to the best of your ability. As little children play, play abundance. Enjoy abundance. Appreciate abundance. And, meanwhile, enjoy doing whatever it is that you really enjoy doing. That was why you came to space/time.

Most of all, stop denying abundance. This stops all manifesting progress.
