You Know My Name, Chris Cornell?

Chris Cornell was born Christopher John Boyle in 20th of July 1964 in Seattle, United States. Cornell became popular as a lead singer of "Soundgarden". He formed the band with friends Hiro Yamamoto and Kim Thayil with whom he had played with in his earlier band "The Shemps". "Soundgarden" recorded and released five studio album "Superunknow" being the most successful of them.

After "Soundgarden" had disbanded in April 1997, he started planning his first solo album. "Euphoria Morning" was released on 21st of September 1999. The album wasn't very successful but although Cornell was nominated for Best Male Artist Grammy Award. Some time later of the release of "Euphoria Morning" he headed to his first solo-tour.

In 2001 Mr. Cornell and the remainings of "Rage Against the Machine" formed a band called "Audioslave". Band's self-titled debut album was released in November 2002. It was a commercial success and has sold triple-platinum in the US so far. After their debut album Audioslave released two albums, "Out of Exile" and "Revelations". In February 2007, he departed from the band to revive his solo-career.

In 2006, Chris Cornell recorded "You Know My Name" as a theme song for the James Bond movie "Casino Royale". This recording earned him several nominations in for different music awards including two Grammy nominations. This was followed by his second solo-album "Carry On", which was released in June 2007. "Carry On" was much bigger commercial success than his debut solo-album. After the release of the album performed as a supporting act in the world-tour of "Aerosmith".

Chris Cornell's latest album "Scream" was published in March 2009 and it was produced by "Timbaland". "Scream" introduces musically an entiry new side of Chris. "Scream" is Cornell's most successful album so far and it has reached #10 on Billboard chart.

In the beginning of the new decade it was told by Chris Cornell that he and his former band-mates were preparing the reunion of "Soundgarden". On April 2010 they held a secret concert performing under the name "Nudedragons".
