You Can Learn to Appreciate Golf

Have you seen the Adam Sandler movie about golf? That's the reason I get to appreciate this sport. I never had a chance to watch a real golf game because of my very busy schedule but because of that movie, I learned to appreciate golf. It may be very boring to watch compared to other sports like basketball, football and hockey.

So how do we view golf as not boring? To a golf fan, this is an easy task but for other people, this would not be that easy. Here are some useful points to make you like golf:

1. View it as a competition - Recall the movie I just told you? That kind of excitement is real in the field. Although not the type of excitement we would see in a basketball game but it would be the same quality of nail-biting action I assure you. Getting the small golf ball to the proper place is never that easy. That is why skilled golfers like Tiger Woods earn praises from his fans all around the world.

2. Watch out for those very outstanding hits - Have you seen a hole in one in television before? Well, having seen it in a movie is very much different from watching it for real. Try watching out for these kind of shots and peaks to keep your interest on it.

3. Keep on with the competition - Two very skilled golfers battling it out one on one in the field on the championship of the tournament can only get you staggering in excitement. Who will win? Who will get the price money? Who will be the champion? These questions will just ring on your ear once you get on the competitive atmosphere of the game.

Those are the top useful points that made me a golf fan. If you are not aiming to be a golf player and would just like to stick with the golf atmosphere with just no reason, well that would be weird really, but I tell you these:

1. Just like my son that says he would just like to ride golf carts, I think anyone can learn to like the sport with that reason. Considering the fact that it is fun, I really enjoy riding on it. The car accessories also interest me in riding them. I really think it would be worthwhile for me and my son to ride those golf carts.

2. This is my personal favorite reason. The large lawn gives you enough space to unwind from your hectic job. Not to mention the peace and quiet that come with it.

You do not have to force yourself to like the game. Just try exposing yourself with it, and eventually you will just like it.
