A couple of years ago I started looking for computer jobs that would allow me to work from home.

At that time, I was working in a huge company and I realized that I was never going to get the life I wanted if I kept on working there (or anywhere else). If I continued working hard, doing around 40 hours per week (or 50!) maybe one day I would get a promotion - but that would only mean that I would have to continue working even longer hours.

They were just as lost as I was.

So I started a blog, and then another one, and another one...

I promoted products, I tried AdWords and link exchange... but I didn't get enough results, especially taking into account all the effort I was putting in.

Many times I thought about giving up and forgetting everything, but the truth is I was facing two paths, and I had to choose between staying the rest of my life at the office complaining about everything and wondering what would have happened if I had tried harder; or my other option was to keep looking for a way to earn money through the Internet.

Finally I started to promote other people's products and services. This practice is called Affiliate Marketing and it's one of the easiest ways to start making money online. When a customer buys a product trough one of your links, you get a commission in return.

If you want to start earning money online trough affiliate marketing the first thing you'll have to do is join an affiliate program. There are many affiliate programs online with lots of great products to promote. Once you have chosen a product you should start to write articles about subjects related to those products. Try to fill your articles with useful information. At the end of each article you have to put a link pointing to your website or your sales page.

Most affiliate marketers fail because they give up to early. Remember, you have to keep posting articles for at least 2 months if you want to see results.

You can start earning money through affiliate marketing writing articles and blog posts. You should give useful information about the products you are trying to promote. At the end of the article you should include a link pointing to the vendor's website. If the information you gave to your visitors is enriching, they may click on your link and buy the product.
