You Can Change Your Situation With a Thought

This is a main principle of Quantum Physics and the Law of Attraction. Your thoughts create your reality. Once you accept this, it is possible to learn the techniques of controlling your thoughts. But, until then, your life will be the haphazard manifestation of your unconscious thoughts, your random worries and your occasional fearful musings. You will know what these thoughts are by your feelings.

Recognizing Your Thoughts

Perhaps you think it was your environment that caused the feeling. Perhaps you were walking in a deserted area at dusk and something happened to make you afraid. This event, whether a group of drunken men coming at you, or a vicious looking dog, is more threatening if you are afraid and less threatening if you are not.

Dogs smell fear and a vicious dog will attack a fearful person. So will a bully by the way. Sadists have a sixth sense and will spot a masochist or an active pain body in a large group.

So, control your fear. Your fear came from the idea that the drunken men can do harm (which they can because their inhibitions against hurting someone are asleep) or that the vicious dog can attack (which he can if the right situation exists).

A different situation is a test situation. Perhaps you have thoughts that "you didn't study enough" or that "you don't understand the material" or that "you never remember what you need to remember on a test". Any of these thoughts are enough to ruin your performance no matter how well you do know the material. If fact, if you sat in class and if you read any of the assignments, your subconscious doesn't forget anything you have ever been exposed to, so you can ace the test with a different set of beliefs.

Conscious Manifestation is Only Possible with Thought Control

Turn on the light and the darkness disappears. Change your thoughts. You can do this by making a quick mental list of all the reasons this situation is going to work out just fine. "I am loveable. I am a child of God. God is standing right next to me. I am bigger than that dog and can hurt him just as much as he can hurt me. Those drunks are having a great time; they're laughing and don't want trouble... My subconscious remembers everything. All I have to do is relax and I'll remember everything. I have access to the collective unconscious if I need more information than I read about. I just need to relax into delta to have access to all the knowledge in the world." How about those thoughts for empowering thoughts. It's all true. But, whatever comes to mind that is positive will help. Erase all thoughts of worry or vulnerability for they won't help you in this situation. Keep them off your list.

Perhaps there is a song that always makes you feel great. Sing that song loudly. Put yourself in a past situation when you were singing that song and happy. Or, picture a times when you were in a tough situation and you triumphed. Keep that image in your mind. Make it brighter than the image that is causing the fear. Make the fearful image dark, and shrink it while you bring up the empowering image.
