You Can Be the Best You Can Be If You Have Confidence in Your Abilities

Expert Author Paul Vann

Its important to be in love with the notion that you were born for greatness. In other words, you are not in the world to live a life of mediocrity, rather you are in the world to live a full life.

For example, you can be the best you can be at what you love to do. If you sing you can write better songs, if you are an author you can write better books. There is no limit on what you can do as long as you have confidence in your abilities.

Who is the judge of your abilities? Hopefully you are the one judging your own abilities, the bottom line is we cannot fool ourselves when it comes to the level of effort we expend on a worthy cause.

When I was a member of the track team in college, I never assessed the competition. Why?

Glad you asked and I will explain why I never assessed the competition. As a 400 meter runner the only thing I needed to concentrate on was how fast I could run to have the lowest time possible running the quarter mile race. It did not matter what the other runners were doing, it was a race between me and the clock.

Man versus the clock is what my collegiate days on the track team was all about. It did not matter what the other runners were doing. The same holds true in business today, it does not matter what the competition is doing, are you producing the best results for the product and or service you offer your customers?

What I am writing about is your level of confidence. It takes confidence to focus on you and not get it twisted when it comes to competition in sports and or business. We must commit our self to steadily building our confidence levels, otherwise we will yield poor results in our personal and professional life.

Being relevant is important in life, as a matter of fact your product and service could very well be one customers cannot do without, this represents relevancy. Your confidence in your abilities is without a doubt the reason why you achieve the level of success you are achieving.

Take your skill sets to the next level by demanding more of your self, reducing wasted time and working with people who want to achieve more out of life than a work a day lifestyle. Its possible as long as you have confidence in your abilities and love what you do.
