Yoga Tips For Beginners

There are two categories of human Autonomic system. Sympathetic system and para-sympathetic system. Sympathetic system, which controls the fight or flight response of human body. Sympathetic system which controls the Relaxation response. When we do yoga ( which include the deep breathing, the stretching, other movements that release tension from muscles ), a process is initiated that turns sympathetic system off and para sympathetic system on. This process has a positive affect on system. Heartbeat of body slows down, breathing slows down, and so as blood pressure. It gives an opportunity to body to relax.

But before you start doing yoga, keep following things in mind:

1. CONSULT PHYSICIAN: This has to be confirmed that yoga does not worsen the condition because of your previous injuries. Yoga is supposed to do good to you.

2. DON'T PUSH: Make sure you don't push your body. Yoga instructors or your companions might have been doing yoga for years and that's why they have reached such flexibility that you might be admiring and trying to copy.

3. EAT LIGHT: Before going to your yoga class, make sure that your stomach is not full. Eat only light before yoga class.

4. BE PATIENT: Don't be in a rush to increase the limits of your body. Body will increase its ability to stretch automatically and slowly.

5. STRETCH: Warm up the body before going to class as immediately starting yoga without warm up is injurious.

6. TAKE YOUR OWN MAT: One should always carry his own kit to yoga class. As borrowing mat from gym can bad to health as it contains bacteria from sweat of other people.

7. FIX YOUR SCHEDULE: You can go to yoga class at any time either morning or evening but stick to your schedule whatever it be.

8. DO IT EVERYDAY: To benefit the results of yoga, you have to do it everyday. Make a determine mind to go to yoga class and will not plan anything other during that time.
