Writing Platforms For Free Traffic

Writing platforms are designed to help you to generate money without a website. You simply write for them and generate traffic to your articles, and they will split the earnings with you. However, a lot of writing platforms are also designed to help you to generate lots of free traffic to your website if you have one. Thus these sites can help you to earn money in two different ways.

Using writing platforms to help you to generate traffic is by far the best way to make use of them, as they rank higher within the search engines, and thus they naturally will receive more search engine traffic. Thus what better way to re-direct that traffic back to your website.

There are many writing platforms to help you to generate high amounts of traffic, but here are a few of my favorites.

Hubpages.

Hubpages is by far my favorite as they allow you to earn with Amazon, eBay, Google AdSense and Kontera as well as affiliate links. On top of that they allow you to place up to 2 links pointing to 1 specific website in each of your hubs.

That may not sound like a lot, but suppose you have several sites that you need to generate traffic for. Hubpages will allow you to add 2 links to each site that you are promoting, provided you do not spam the site. However, it is better to only add a few links than to throw in a lot of links and have it removed by the Hubpage community due to spam.

But remember that you can also customize your profile page and re-direct your traffic from there as well.

Xomba

Xomba would have to be my second best site for generating traffic and building back links. They allow you to add links into the body of the article, your profile page, as well as in your signature link. All these links work together to help you to generate back links and lots of free traffic.

Furthermore, Xomba also allows you to make money with Google AdSense to help you to make the most out of your time.

There are many other sites that are very helpful in driving traffic and some of these include Infobarrel, Helium, RedGage and Squidoo.

You can use as many as you like, but as I have said before, you should start with one and build a readership before moving on to the next site. This basically prevents you from becoming overwhelmed by writing for too many sites.
