Writing For Residual Income - Top Two Ways
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

Do you want to increase your income from your writing? To do that, you have to find ways which will pay for your time, over and over again. Let's look at the top two ways in which you can make money from your writing long after you've completed it.

1. Create Websites As Cash Machines

Creating websites is a great part-time activity for a writer.

You have the skills you need, and once you've written the content for a site, the site has the potential to make residual income for you. Your own skill in choosing a topic for your site, and choosing monetization options, will determine how much you make.

If you need a fast deposit of cash into your PayPal account, you can always sell a site. (Older sites are easier to sell than newer sites, for various reasons.)

Not every website you create will be an instant winner.

Some sites will make little cash. However, you'll also create sites which surprise and delight you with the income they generate -- and the more money a site makes, the more you can sell the site for, if you wish.

Creating and selling websites is at the top of my list of residual income opportunities for writers.

2. Write and Sell (Lots of) eBooks

The other way to create residual income is to write and sell eBooks.

You can create eBooks and short reports, and make some income from each one. Each project you complete builds on the last. This is because with each eBook you sell, you have somebody who knows the value of the information you provide, and will buy additional products from you.

eBooks are simple to create.

However, before you start writing, ensure that there is a market for your information.

Here's a fast way of finding out whether there's a market -- check to see whether other people are selling information products in this area. If they are, then you've found a hot topic, and you can go ahead and write with confidence.
