World of Warcraft Insights takes a look at the Death Knight class. The Death Knights are the newest class to the World of Warcraft seine. Introduced with the latest expansion the DKs have become one of the new power classes. Like a mix of a rouge and a warrior the DKs came in dealing massive damage with high armor. Yet it has the survivability of a hunter due to one of it's talent trees. The three talent trees of the DK are Blood, Frost, Unholy.

The blood tree doesn't really have any comparison to anything else in the game. It deals with big hits accompanied with self and some part healing which makes this speck best in soloing and PVP. It also has been said that one can find the best dps out of this speck. Though to me (who currently has a DK specked blood for dps) it looks promising but I haven't confirmed this statement, but it does help my guild's healer out by reducing the amount of attention she has to pay to me.

The frost tree is pretty much your rogue tank. The frost is all about self buffs, armor, and damage mitigation, coupled with frost presence (+60 percent to threat) this is said to be the best tanking speck. The odd thing about a DK tanking is the fact that the DK gains threat through his dps, unlike a warrior or a paladin who uses taunts/buffs/crippling attacks/stances to gain threat. This is why I say a rouge tank, minus the fact that the DK here should be DWing.

The unholy tree takes aspects of an affliction warlock and couples it with some hunter aspects with hard, fast hitting melee damage. The unholy DK deals with multiple dots as well as a pet ghoul for dps. This tree use to be the "be all end all" dps speck for the DK and due to changes made to the talents unholy has sort of lost it's luster.
