Working Towards A Healthy Bowel

Perhaps because the bowel eliminates so much waste in so short a time (in ideal conditions), some health professionals of the past became bowel obsessed. We have since learned it's much better to be "whole body" minded and to start out with a complete body system detoxification program.
A healthy bowel requires enough quality water, good nerve tone, good muscle tone, adequate circulation and the right bioelectrical nutrients in the right amounts. These are not enough to restore health to a dirty, toxic-laden bowel, however. Cleansing must come first, then tissue rebuilding can be established.
This is not an easy task and not something that can be done in a month's time or even a year's time. This estimate is based on the time it has taken to see healing lines coming into dark, chronic bowel areas of the irides (in iridology) after a patient has gone through a cleansing and rejuvenation program.
Our bodies rid themselves of poisons every day. Medical lab tests have been developed to check whether these toxin levels in the blood, urine, feces or mucus are normal. Also, there are tests for the skin, hair and saliva to tell what toxins are being eliminated or accumulated.
Of all the processes essential to good health, we may consider elimination one of the most important systems of the body and it is apparent that good bowel management is necessary. Truthfully, it can be admitted that the condition of the bowel tissue is often the key to the state of health or disease of the individual.
And there is some school of thought that our health issues begin more in the bowel than any other part of the body. The body depends on a clean bowel and the cleanliness of any tissue depends upon what is found in the bowel system.
