Womens Golf Clubs, Just What The Ladies Need
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

A game of golf on a Sunday is what most people turn towards, to unwind and enjoy the morning breeze. earlier men were the only ones playing this sport, but today since women have also joined in, most golf club manufacturers have begun taking care of the needs of the women players. They do have their own needs, and preferences based on which the clubs and other golf accessories are manufactured. there have been times, when we see men and women playing a round of 18 hole game on the same course. if the women are professionals, they will definitely fare better. Women can play with men's clubs, but in most cases, they prefer to use a club made just for them. These are made exclusively for women players and the design, style is different from that of a man's. The womens golf clubs are made to serve the same purpose, only difference is their weight or size.

Some of the key points to look look for when seeking that perfect set of golf clubs are,-

The material used

What is the base material used to make the clubs? A question that every women player must ask the manufacturer before picking it up. It could be made of iron or wood, but depending on their comfort level, they must pick up the one best suited for them. Just like while buying a pair of shoes, we try on multiple pairs, here too, the lady can use the club to see how well it swings or the force with which it goes in air. This will help them take a wise decision and be comfortable while playing on the course.

Length of the club

The clubs made for women are usually a tad shorter than that of the men's. This is because the average height of women is said to be lesser than men and so they require a club which is shorter. Only then will they be able to focus, and shoot the ball off the tee without any trouble. Else, they will have to either bend too much or too less, making it difficult to get the shot going.

Weight of the clubs

Using a graphite shaft would work better than steel as this gives more power, and swing to the lady playing the game. The club will also be lighter in weight, which means not too much pressure on the shoulders while swinging the club. A lighter club is any day better than a heavy one, this will also allow the person to carry it easily and be more accurate while making a shot. Womens golf clubs are meant for people across age groups, to give them the freedom of playing the game without any hassles. If there are too many issues outside of their playing ability, it will put them off and keep them away from the golf course. It is better to buy clubs that are perfect for your stature, if not get custom made clubs.
