I know how it feels when you get up in the morning and you turn on your computer. It seems like it takes a year to start up. Windows XP slow start up can be caused by a number of things. When you load your computer if you have a lot of programs starting up when windows XP starts it will load slow. You can run msconfig to select and deselect the programs that you don't want to run. You may have some errors in your windows XP registry if your XP is starting up slow. These errors can be telling your computer how to load but if there is something wrong with them then it will take forever to start up. If there is errors your computer isn't going to run right.

You may need to just clean out your computer. The registry may be clutter with thousands of unneeded files making it more difficult for you computer to load windows. The cleaner will clean everything out and it will optimize your whole computer so it will run with better performance.

Windows XP needs to be cleaned out once a week. This will keep your computer performing at its best. You need to get all the little problems before they add up to one big one.
