Why You Should Be Wary of Occult Activity

The popularity of Occultism is growing throughout the Western World, thanks to programs like 'Most Haunted' that show the presenters interacting with spirits in supposedly haunted locations.

Whilst it might seem like another harmless fad that will quickly die away like many others, there are some aspects to the Occult that you should be wary of.

  • The occult teaches people to be superstitious and to fear that which cannot be proven by conventional science. For example if you believe that your house is haunted by a poltergeist, then this could cause you to act irrationally. If you're terrified after being confronted by an 'apparition', what's stopping you from jumping out of a 3rd story window to try to escape it?
  • Those who practice the Occult are quite likely to become associated with other like-minded people who are influenced by dark music, alcohol and other drugs.
  • With the occult, moral relativism is practiced, meaning that the person who adheres to this belief system will not hold conventional religious beliefs close to their heart.
  • Occultism is not accepted as a social norm. This could lead to your family being ostracized from your community if others find out that one of your close relatives has ties with Occultist.
  • It is very easy these days to spend a fortune on occult materials like ouija boards that can cost up to $50. The self help book industry which is often based on occultist principles is a lucrative business for a reason. Many are addicted to spending their money on this superstitious drivel.
