Let me first say, I am passionate about building my business and since becoming involved with an awesome group of leaders, I have found you must have a high level of commitment as well as certain tools in order to create a profitable online business. Using an autoresponder in your email marketing strategy is an absolute necessity if you plan on becoming a successful network marketer. You see my most desired long term goal is to have time freedom. I want the time to do what I want to do, when I want to do it and how I want to do it!. I asked one of my team members yesterday what time she was going to get up and she replied so nonchalantly..."when I open my eyes". I loved that answer and I am going to get there soon. In the past, my response to the word email marketing can only be likened to when I would get sick as a kid and always wanted something cherry flavored that would make me feel better. But no, my mother would stick a gigantic spoon of castor oil in front of my mouth and say "you have to take it if you want to feel better." Oh jeeze, that was the nastiest stuff ever created by man. She would almost have to pry my mouth open in order for me to swallow and although I knew it was going to make me better... eventually, I still did everything under the sun not to have to take it because it made me feel sicker than I already was. Well, this was the same way I felt about autoresponders and email marketing. When I started online a little over 2 years ago, I would see a program or opportunity that interested me and of course, in order to get "More Information" or "See How You To Can Fire Your Boss" I would have to give them my name and email address. I will tell you, there were times I could not type fast enough getting my information in those boxes. Then I would get that confirmation message "Thank you, your confirmation has been activated. Go to your inbox to receive.. " or something to that effect. But afterwards, I found that I had to swallow the medicine.
I would get 1st one message and before I could finish reading it, I would get another one and then another one. My inbox would be inundated with email messages. They kept multiplying to the point that it became a chore to go through them all. I did not even want to read them anymore. It was like taking castor oil, I dreaded going through them. I would scan some because after all, they were suppose of offer the answers to some of my questions that would help me become financially free, but after about the 20th message from the same person or program within 3 or four days, I had forgotten about the reason I had "opted-in" in the first place, besides, I had better things to do with my time. So I would be like a magician. I would select them all and with one click of the mouse, it was like "poof, be gone". All of Those messages would disappear and then I would unsubscribe...quickly.
I continued to give my name and email address to receive information, but I began to see a change in the email marketing strategy of some of the more responsible programs. If it were a newsletter or maybe online training, there was a longer interval between the times I would receive them. It gave me the chance actually digest the information from one email message to the next. I was finally a lot let stressful going to my messages and I began to realize that many online programs and companies were changing their practices when marketing their products or services. Some even started offering free reports and other valuable information just to receive my name and email address, that was really a twist. There has even been a few programs that I have joined simply because they wanted to get to know me and really help me succeed through relationship building Today my outlook on autoresponder generated ema1l messages has done a complete 360. The autoresponder which is use is outstanding. It has helped me begin to build an ongoing list of future clients to place in my sales funnel.
How can you use an autoresponder to market your business. Well the possibilities are almost endless, but there is one thing for certain, email marketing is by far the most powerful and effective ways to engage your existing customers and future prospects. You absolutely need one for your online marketing success. So stop procrastinating. Do your due diligence and choose the one which is right for your marketing efforts and start sending those messages...responsibly!
