Camping in the great outdoors can be a refreshing, peaceful family experience. However, occasional rain showers or bright sun with no shade in sight can put a damper on camping activities. A camping gazebo is the perfect solution. These gazebos are perfect for use at the beach as well.

Camping gazebos are portable and easy to put up. You can set up your dining and cooking area under the gazebo to ensure everybody stays dry. In cases where it is just way too hot, the gazebo can provide adequate shade from the suns hot rays.

Most gazebos have an option to attach a bug screen. Everybody knows when camping, bugs can be a huge nuisance. The screens attach fairly fast and easy, and can be zipped up, to keep out larger critters as well. These will make an excellent camping trip even better.

The gazebos start around $40.00 for a cheap one, or you can purchase a more expensive gazebo for up to $800.00. The more expensive ones are heavier and usually have a hard plastic top, making them very durable. The cheaper gazebos are made of cloth and depending on how often it is used, and how it is cared for, you may get a year or two of use out of it.

The gazebos are available in a couple of different sizes. A 10 foot by 10 foot gazebo is a pretty standard size. Cabela's and Wenzel are a couple of popular manufacturers of these portable gazebos. You can purchase these camping gazebos at a sporting good store, online, or at your local department store
