Why Super Anti-Social People Do Really Good in the Stock Market

Expert Author Lance Winslow

Some say that anti-social behavior is a bad thing, but if you occasionally jump out of the mainstream of society and stop listening to the mass media you might actually see something that no one else does. Further, an anti-social person is liable to easily reject the so-called "wisdom of the mob" and purposely go the opposite way. For this, they are often, no not always, but often enough rewarded, for they are thinking far outside the box. Now then let's use the stock market as an example.

An anti-social person might choose to buy when everyone else is selling, and then sell when everyone else is buying. Guess what? Nine times out of ten this turns out to be a winning combination when playing the stock market or buying in various industry sectors. So, next time you are considering buying a stock maybe you might ask someone that others wouldn't care to consult; an anti-social individual? Well, maybe that might just work.

It seems far too often people who go along with the crowd buy at the top and sell at the bottom, like everyone else is and that is the momentum the market appears to be headed, but if you can get yourself to think like an antisocial type, just long enough to put forth a better set of reasoning factors, you could find yourself a winner in the stock market with your stock picks.

What does Jim Cramer say; "I don't want to make friends, I just want to make money!" And maybe he's right, and you know he seems somewhat opposite of the norm in his behavior as well, maybe on the verge of anti-social combative behavior, after all it is a fine line I suppose? Anyway, this might explain why a lot of wealthy traders are not into idle chit-chat or hanging-out at social gatherings. And maybe that's why they are making money, and you are making nothing but mistakes in your trading strategies. Please consider all this.
