Now, I know that some people would say, a relationship is much better than marriage. They would say that because you're getting all the benefits of marriage with out the commitment.

Now, if that's what you're into, just having a relationship and you don't want that piece of paper than all the more power to you. I don't hold it against you at all. Whatever blows your hair back is what I always say.

But if one of the people in the relationship wants something more and the other doesn't then you have got yourself a problem. So what is the person who wants something more supposed to do to get the relationship to progress?

What I would suggest is you sit down with the person you're in a relationship with and let them know how you feel about them. Lay all of it on the table and tell them that you want something more. Tell them that you wish to marry them and see where it takes you.

Because what's the worst that can really happen? The other person may tell you that they want to marry you, but they just did not have the courage to ask you.

Of course they could always tell you they don't want to get married. They like just having a relationship and living together and all of the stuff that goes along with that.

But, if they're not willing to take that next step and you are willing too then I think you need to give that person an ultimatum. You need to tell them that either you move toward marriage together or you move out.

I know that sounds harsh, but the way I'm seeing it is if the farmers get the milk for free he is never going to buy the cow. you know what I mean?
