When Do You Get the Message, "Error Opening Registry"?

Sometimes when you are working on your computer, installing a new application or using a program or for that matter, starting the computer, there is a possibility that you may come across an error message saying that there is an error opening registry. You may receive a number of such error messages at a time because fixing the registry is always a complex as well as a vital issue, which can only be handled effectively by the experts of the specific domain. If you feel that ole opening error is not a big issue then you can try and fix it by yourself.

The first and foremost thing to do is to restart the system. This will automatically solve the problem in case, if the error occurred due to the improper shutting down of the computer. If the computer was not shut down in the proper manner then such errors can occur. However, this still does not prove that this will be the sole reason for this type of ole error. It could be one of the reasons and if it is, then it will get fixed automatically by restarting. Another thing that can be done is, trying to free up some space in the drives as some of the programs might be needing some extra space to function properly. The lack of space in the drives can also cause the error opening registry message to pop up.

If this problem is still persisting while trying to open an application then you can try re-installing the particular program. This could solve the problem of corrupted files or missing files in the program which could be the reason for the error.
