If you are like me, there are days when things come at you from all sides, and you feel like pulling your hair out. You may be asking yourself what can you do when you are stressed out. Here's 3 things that help me to relieve stress and continue on my day.

Listen to soothing music - Certain types of music have a calming effect for me. I love songs that are ambient, alternative or have nature sounds set to music. Find music that you like that calms you, and listen to it with headphones.

Drinking a cup of hot tea - I don't know what it is about it, but sitting with a cup of hot tea in my hands helps me to relax. It doesn't matter what tea it is. Chamomile is very good to help you to unwind, especially at night.

Take a break - Sometimes the only thing that helps is taking a break from what is causing the stress. For me, I need to get out of the house and get fresh air. Taking a walk can help as exercise has been proven to help decrease stress.

There are many things that you can do to relieve stress. These are just 3 of the things I do when I feel like I'm a wit's end. I could go on and on about things I do, but what matters is that you find something that will work for you. What helps me when I am stressed out may not work for you and vice versa. Just remember to keep an open mind. Your perfect relief may be right behind you.
