In fact you are able to purchase additional items for your bassinet like pillows, linens, other accessories and of course the mattress. Do not worry about having more than one mattress for your baby bassinet as this is always a good thing. Why? Remember mattresses will get old and worn and chances are they will need to be replaced anyway.
Take care when purchasing your baby bassinet mattress. The mattress should be able to properly support your loved one. Choose one that is not too hard or too soft. Too hard a mattress will be uncomfortable, while one that is too soft will cause the baby to sink inside and may even lead to suffocation. This is the most precious thing in the world to you, so make sure to make the right choice when it comes to buying a bassinet.
