Living a life as an employee places a person in a comfortable zone, which is why most people never consider experimenting the possibility of crossing over from being an "employee" to an "employer". I mean getting a steady paycheck, benefits , medical, vacation and sometimes a decent retirement plan is not a bad deal. It is understandable for people to consider these things to be one of the most important and hardest to give up if they try to pursue their dreams of being entrepreneurs. There are also other factors that make this transition for people to become entrepreneurs difficult. Like the support from there family, friends, or colleagues. These factors probably are the main cause of so many aspiring entrepreneurs to end up throwing in the towel.
For you to really follow through and accomplish this, you really need to ask yourself if this is truly what you want to do. You need to have the right reasons set in place for yourself and the right mind set. Being rich and being your own boss is not enough. You need to be passionate about this life changing step you are about to take. You have to ask yourself if this will make you happy for the rest of your life. You need to know your true reason why starting this new venture is the right decision for you. Whatever you end up telling yourself, you need to factor in the fact that you will need to put more effort on this more than anything else you have done in your life. The whole 9 to 5 deal does not apply in this lifestyle when your just starting out. You have to make sure that your reasons for starting this venture are strong enough for you to put you through countless sleepless nights of research, planning, and the constant stress of worrying if you are going to be able to get through with whatever remaining savings you have to make this work.
Having a great support systems like your friends and family are great keys to have to help you succeed but keep in mind that even that support system can't be full proof. They can be your greatest support system but even the that can break apart. If that happens, you need to make sure that you are 100% committed to following through with your dreams of working for yourself! As long as your passion and commitment stays in place, you will be able to go pass those hardship and come out a better and stronger individual.
Being an entrepreneur is probably one of the most challenging and demanding lifestyle a person can choose to have, but it is probably the most rewarding lifestyle to have if you succeed.
