What is the Biggest Secret to Success in Building an Entrepreneurial Business Idea?
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

If you have an entrepreneurial mind and you think that your new idea may be a winner, make sure that it passes this single question before going any further. Here is the single most important point that you will need to fulfill in order to make your business a success. Read on to find out what it is.

The answer to insane business success is quite simple, yet most businesses operate in a vacuum and frequently fail to consider this secret when coming up with a new service or product. These businesses think that they can just sit in a room and decide what people are looking for and then sell it to customers with hands outstretched, just begging for more.

This could not be further from the truth. Customers are smarter than ever. With ratings, pricing, and company research available at the click of a mouse, you don't even have to leave you living room any more in order to make an informed buying decision. Social media has made the line between business and personal almost non-existent, as we can instantly give our opinions about something and have it travel around the world in a nanosecond.

So what is the answer? What is the big secret to developing a runaway business? The answer is simple. Find a starving market and feed them exactly what they are hungry for. No more, no less. Finding this market is the hard part, and could take half a lifetime for some. Once you find it however, it will be a goldmine. People don't always know that they are starving for something, which makes it even more complicated. This is where marketing is critical. You have to put the problem in front of the consumer.

Once you discover your starving crowd, keep feeding them until they are full, then go find another crowd. You can upsell, cross-sell, down-sell, and anything else until each household in your market has a belly full of whatever you have to offer. Research is the key, but it isn't the only answer. Some of it is blind luck and the drive to stick with your passion until you see it to the end. You can test small segments of your market to see if you might have a winner. People vote with their wallets and you can quickly tell if you have a dud or not. Just get your product to market as fast as you can, fail quickly and get back on the horse until you grab a market that will let you ride off into the sunset.
