One should also avoid over consumption of caffeine and alcohol. Both can cause your game to suffer - caffeine can over stimulate your muscle and can make you react too fast, while alcohol can impair your coordination. It is never a good idea to drink alcohol before or during a game, as it may put your performance in jeopardy.
Gaining a competitive advantage over your foursome can happen, for as long as you adhere to good golfing nutrition, coupled with a good exercise routine. Keeping your body healthy is not just do wonders for your game of golf, but can also prolong your life.
