A "personal brand" is an important tool when it comes too promoting yourself and your products online or in any Brick-and-Mortar business. Your brand is a direct representation of how you present yourself, whether it's online or in a public forum. As a marketer you will want to demonstrate to your leads that you are an expert in your field.
Now, that doesn't mean lying about your income or your great successes because in the end that type of deception won't get you anywhere. The way to illustrate your internet marketing prowess is to write and act confident in any format whether it's video marketing or speaking to a lead over the phone. Show the consumer that you are someone who is a go-getter and they should be privileged to work with you. Be the alpha leader in your pursuits. Always take the initiative in your campaigns to go the extra mile to provide strong concrete value to the consumer. Make sure that in any press release or article that you write, you provide a question or problem and then a solution. Everyone wants a solution to their problems. It is your job as a marketer to provide them with your solution. As long as you remain honest in your advertising and provide the consumer with a proven solution, "your" brand will flourish.
Tony Robbins said in his book Ultimate Power that, "If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you'll achieve the same results." The best advice I can give you on creating a successful "personal brand" is to copy other salesman and marketers techniques and add your own personal touch. Look at how men like Donald Trump and Steve Jobs have branded themselves, creating billion dollar companies in the process. Read and study as much as you can and believe in yourself. Take the necessary action and stay persistent and you will be successful. I hope this article was beneficial.
Note: Through my experiences in sales and marketing the biggest tip that I can give you is never oversell. Provide answers and support to your customer. "People like to buy, not to be sold"
