Mesothelioma is a cancerous growth that if formed in the lining which covers all the prominent and vital organs that are present inside the human body. Since it affects the layer called Mesothelium, which protects all the internal organs, it has obtained such a name. Only by means of the lining every organ is said to operate easily without any trouble. For example heart is able to pump out blood to other parts of the body without harming the lungs. This is possible only due to the effective presence of this layer. When this layer is subjected to cancerous growth it is known as the ailment called Mesothelioma.

It is difficult to diagnose this issue accurately. This is because the indications and symptoms of this disease are pretty much identical to other diseases. Only biopsy reports can confirm the presence of this cancerous growth. This has given rise to a premonition that in actuality, there would be more number of probable victims of this disease than the number of sufferers who have been originally identified, as victims.

Photo dynamic therapy (PDT) is a novel mesothelioma cure ,derived from the hypothesis that solo celled organisms pass away when exposed to a particular frequency of light. Some photosensitive drugs are dispensed in an intravenous fashion and within two days the drugs annihilate the contaminated cell. Some of the possible side effects are Skin sensitivity, allergy, queasiness and vomiting sensation. So in due course of time effective measure would take root so as to help people to cure themselves.
